Sales and Education Executive (Area Manager) - Estée Lauder Travel Retail EMEA (Based Germany)

Travel Retail Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA)wish to appoint a Sales & Education Executive to manage the day to dayactivities of Estée Lauder in the Germanic region.

The role will report to the Area Sales &Operations Manager based in Germany and specifically covers the centralEuropean airports. It is a field-based role with 80% of the time spent in thefield. The preferred home location is Frankfurt or Munich or a city with closeproximity or easy access to an airport. This is a particularly autonomous rolerequiring the selected candidate to work on their own initiative.

The role is responsible for the achievement ofsales goals through the implementation of the brand and corporate strategy. Astrong understanding of the retail environment including setting targets andexecuting 360 launch programs with excellence is key.

The role involves leading, recruiting,coaching, developing and managing a team of Estée Lauder Counter Managers andBeauty Advisors. The engagement, motivation, and training of the generic staffis also key to the role.

It is important for the Sales and Education Executiveto ensure the brand looks it best at all times by ensuring any VisualMerchandising guidelines are adhered to, maintaining store standards includingtester orders, hygiene standards and counter maintenance.

It also involves establishing and maintainingexcellent working relationships with key stake holders including our retailpartners, Head Office departments, Education, Visual Merchandising, Digital andHR teams.

Travel Retail is a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurialenvironment. The right candidate will possess a positive and energetic approachwith an open mind to test and learn new projects and new and better ways ofdelivering sales objectives. Excellent people management, organisational andleadership skills combined with strong commercial awareness and computerliteracy including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required. Fluent Englishin written and spoken communication is mandatory to work in an internationalenvironment.
