Supply & Inventory Cluster Manager

In light of the growth of the Travel Retail organization, we are looking for an experienced professional to take over the Supply & Inventory Cluster Manager position.

The scope of Travel Retail spreads across 65 key geographies covering the APAC, EMEA and the Americas region.

As a Supply and Inventory Cluster Manager you will be responsible for the supply planning, inventory management and new product launch processes for the respective brands within the scope. Furthermore, you will have the chance to drive the following topics:

  • Coach, develop and manage the cluster team to cope efficiently and professionally with the service requirements, the workload and the associated communication with externaland internal customers.

  • Initiate, maintain and further develop positive working relationships with both Travel Retail enterprise and global supply chain stakeholders.

  • Implement the global inventory strategy for the respective cluster and work together with brands and other regional and global stakeholders to ensure targets are met.

  • Lead global supply planning activities with a robust SIOP/IBP process and drive effective inventory management.

  • Represent brands in various meetings with stakeholders being a first point of contact and escalation for any supply/inventory related issues.

  • Support and implement collaborative planning forecasting & replenishment programs with partners.

  • Be responsible for driving ongoing continuous improvement within supply/demand processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Based on long term supply chain strategy and Travel Retail business requirements, define technology and capability needs to support the growth and evolution of the business

  • You have an academic background withaBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Economics and/or Management withanadditional advanced degree (e.g. MBA and certifications in Procurement and Supply Chain Management; APICS, CIPS, Lean Six Sigma is a plus)

  • You have at least 8 years of experience in relevant supply chain functions (supply planning, inventory planning, demand planning etc.), preferably in the consumer goods or relevant industries (healthcare, chemicals, luxury, etc.) with a sound understanding of production planning.

  • You have a pro-active, fact-based, pragmatic attitude with an analytical, solution and results oriented mind-set.

  • You have experience in people management complemented by strong decision making skills.

  • You think strategically and strive for excellence in execution.

  • You are self-driven, change savvy and you like to challenge the status quo.

  • You have a business level fluency in English; German, French or any other European language knowledge is a plus.

  • You have excellent understanding of ERP systems (SAP APO / ECC is required), MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
