The Estee Lauder Companies Supervisor Logistics Inbound in Aargau-Brunegg, Switzerland

Supervisor Logistics Inbound

For this position, we are looking for a person who will have full functional and disciplinary responsibility for the processes/sections of Inbound, Masterdata and Returns

The efficient execution of these core-processes poses a special challenge due to the complex environment, having a 16/6 operation to lead and managing teams across 2 layers. The duties include responsibility for the following:

-Being a role model for the EL leadership principles and demonstrating active management of the individual targets of subordinates (PDP) & team targets

- Maintenance of Skill-Matrix within the area of responsibility

-Leading the further development of the team towards a continuous improvement culture of safety & compliance, performance & agility, efficiency and cost, service and quality. Initiating and/or contributing to the implementation of projects along the entire process chain in alignment with the counterparts in the other DC

-Planning of employee resources to ensure an efficient and timely execution

- Recruiting of permanent/temporary staff and ensuring appropriate training on the job

-Reasonable compilation of work packages to ensure a balanced utilization of the operation while respecting priorities at the same time

-Monitoring of the timely execution of orders and introducing corrective measures in case of deviations

-Ensuring compliance with packaging and shipping regulations (Dangerous Goods compliance), Known Shipper conformity (aviation authorities) and Stock Integrity (customs authorities)

-Documentation of Processes, Change Requests and the Execution of User Acceptance Tests

-Initiating and implementing improvement projects in the DC Brunegg

-Creating statistics/reports and presentations and communicate results to the team and up to senior management

-Deputizing other Logistics Supervisors

-10 years of work practice in logistics with progressive responsibility and multiple years of experience in leading people

-Team building ability and coaching experience, track record of organizational development

-Ability to liaise and communicate pro-actively with people of all sorts of backgrounds and levels

-Good language skills in English and German (verbally & written)

-Good knowledge of the MS Office-suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

-Knowledge of SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)

-Analytical capabilities, familiar with working in a complex and fast paced environment, process-oriented thinking

-Teamplayer, strong communicator, able to lead change

-Able to handle conflicts in a constructive way - strong interpersonal skills

-High degree of flexibility, ability to work independently and under pressure

-Understand the application of lean management tools and process improvement techniques
